Who We Are

I am a genuine car nut; always have been. From my youngest days I knew I wanted to be involved in the car business in some way as an adult.

I grew up following my father around his Magna, Utah Ford dealership. He was an antique car nut, so we spent Saturdays pulling Model A's and old fire engines out of barns. I also fell in love with cars, all kinds. My start was a go-kart at age 9. I bought my first car at age 15, a '49 Ford for $14 from a friend at church. Since then, I've enjoyed hot rods, British and German sports cars, American classics and muscle cars, motorcycles and fast boats. It has been my goal to one day have a small showroom full of very nice cars, all of which I would be proud to own. I'm pleased that that goal is now a reality.

I finished my education at the University of Utah and Harvard Business School, got married to my sweetheart in Los Angeles, and we are now raising five terrific children. My career has been in the food industry, in sales, marketing management and executive positions. I served 22 years with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, HJ Heinz Company (Ore-Ida Foods & Weight Watchers Foods) in Idaho, Universal Frozen Foods in Idaho, HEB Grocery Stores in San Antonio, and Monsanto Company in Idaho. One year ago, the time was right for me to leave corporate life and bring this small business dream to life. I moved from my home garage to this showroom office in March of 2000.

Our children work with me during the summer and after school. We are finding and selling lots of fine cars, enjoying driving them, and doing some restoration where needed.

Our selection of cars reflects my broad automotive interest in hot rods, classics, sports cars, muscle cars, and a fast boat here and there. What each vehicle shares in common is my pride of ownership. Each car has been carefully selected and refurbished as needed to bring it to a higher standard.

My Standard of Performance
I'm a perfectionist and buy very carefully. I work to find honest cars, cars that have been owned by enthusiasts who love their hobby. I describe accurately and want you to know the car's strengths and shortfalls before you buy. My goal is no surprises. I'm happy when you are happy with the purchase. I'll do my very best to make that happen.

This is a very small family business. I buy and sell every car we offer. Any restoration or improvement work is overseen by me. I enjoy getting to know our customers and making friends with them. For me, this is not a number's game. It is a business of providing a very high level of customer service to everyone, whether buying a $40K car or a $10K car.

Most of my sales are out of state, and many are purchased sight unseen. In that situation, I want to reduce buyer's risk, and have been very successful. Every buyer, without exception, has been pleased with his or her purchase. Our testimonials show that. Some have written to say that I "undersold the car" to them; that the car was nicer than I had said and that their expectations were exceeded. That is my goal for every customer: to provide pleasure with a new collector car.
